How do I become a member? +

To become a member, you need to register on our platform, complete KYC verification, and pay the joining fee for your chosen package (Standard: R500, Pro: R1,000, Premium: R2,000). Verification typically takes 24-48 hours.

What are the different membership tiers? +

We offer three membership tiers:

  • Standard (R500 joining fee): Full participation rights, payout eligibility, digital wallet access, 12-month minimum wait
  • Pro (R1,000 joining fee): Priority in payout queue, access to workshops, 9-month minimum wait
  • Premium (R2,000 joining fee): Top queue priority, insurance support, premium support, strategic invitations, 6-month minimum wait

All tiers include a R100 monthly administration fee.

How do I check my contribution balance? +

Log into your Savings Wallet dashboard to view your current balance, contribution history, and progress toward your goal.

What happens if I miss a contribution? +

Two missed contributions result in suspension from the payout queue. We recommend setting up automatic payments to avoid disruptions. Repeated default may lead to expulsion.

How do I change my payment method? +

You can update your payment method in your account settings. Both EFT and card payments are accepted.

How do I become eligible for payout? +

You become eligible for the payout queue when you meet BOTH conditions:

  1. Reach at least 50% of your policy value (R100,000)
  2. Complete the minimum wait time for your package (Premium: 6 months, Pro: 9 months, Standard: 12 months)
What’s my position in the payout queue? +

Your queue position is visible in your wallet dashboard once you’ve reached 50% of your target and completed the minimum wait time for your package. Queue priority is based on: 1) Package tier (Premium > Pro > Standard), 2) Date eligibility reached, 3) Contribution consistency.

What are my payout options? +

You can choose between:

  • Vehicle Benefit: Choose from our selected vehicle options up to R200,000 value. Vehicle title remains with the Association until full R200,000 is paid.
  • Cash Benefit: Receive cash equivalent up to your total benefit amount. A 5% penalty applies when choosing cash instead of a vehicle at maturity.
What fees apply to withdrawals? +
  • Standard withdrawal: 5% processing fee for all withdrawals
  • Early cash-out: 10% penalty if withdrawing before policy maturity
  • Cash instead of vehicle: 5% penalty when choosing cash at maturity
  • Voluntary exit: 10% penalty with two months’ notice
How often are audits performed? +

We conduct quarterly internal reviews and an annual independent audit by a registered auditing firm. All members receive summary reports.

How do members approve changes? +

Policy changes require a two-thirds majority vote at a general meeting, with 30 days’ notice provided to all members. All members have equal voting rights.

Where can I view payout logs? +

All members can access payout history and queue status through their digital wallet dashboard. We maintain an open-book policy for transparency.

What security measures protect payments? +

We use bank-level encryption, two-factor authentication, and hold member funds in trust accounts separate from operational funds. The Trustee Company (Munhumukapa Holdings Group) manages administration but does not use member funds for company profit.
